The perfect Panorama

Every now and then you run into installations that leave you speechless. This is one of them.
Not that I am an aviator or have any comprehension of what is shown – it is the way it is presented, the detail and the functionality of the presentation that is so fascinating. Something we probably will see a lot more of in the years to come.

This one is a true 360 Degree Panorama of an Airbus 380 cockpit.

And that’s not all. Gilles Vidal offers an equally amazing array of 360 degree panoramas of Venice, Italy. It’s almost as good as being there yourself!

At the beach

This is a panorama of the beach at Lake Louisa. A beautiful place to be.
Life Oaks and Cypress Trees, tea colored water – a result of pine needles and lot of Insects life.
Swallowtail mudpuddle, to take on minerals, Dragon and Damselflies swirl around – the occasional
Alligator scouts the shallows, frogs lay their eggs near the beach – in short buzzing of life!

Amazing Old Photographs

Stumbling in to Shorpy’s is like finding a hidden treasure. Named after a boy’s picture made in the early 1900’s, Shorpy is dedicated to show us glimpses in our recent and not so recent past. Amazing shots from the beginning of the Photography Age to the 1960’s show what was and will never be.

Disbelief on social settings in the industrial revolution, documented in a huge amount of images, Amusement about habits, clothing, early technology, Awe on seeing places that have – or not change over the years – in short a place where you can spend hours and hours browsing through history – which isn’t really that long ago.
