Wow Klaus, those are some awesome shots. I still look everyday and always enjoy what I see but these are even better yet, fantastic stuff. You make me want to get back to Florida in a bad way, hopefully in March. Look out Viera wetlands, Merritt Island and maybe even Gatorland.

You’re right. These are beautiful birds and you’ve photographed them beautifully. They tend to be pretty reclusive around my part of Florida and, therefore, difficult to photograph. You can’t photograph what you can’t see.
