All three exceptional photos Klaus. Funny, I like the composition of the little fuzzball chick the best but the color on the adult is gorgeous. This bird would be a lifer for me buddy. It’s amazing the stages some birds go through isn’t it?

Super captures. I’ve only seen a Purple Galinule twice (in South Africa) Beautiful birds; the photo of the chick is very special.

Hello Klaus… Your photos are always stunning. I think one of the great joys of summertime is being able to watch the parents bring their offspring to the feeders. Seeing those fuzzy little kids trying to learn how to use a suet feeder is so touching. Many people don’t know what they are missing in their own back yards…..Michelle
