It was a tricky selection and I opted for an unlikely candidate. This image pretty much sums up the experience
Brad and I had, when being at Black Point Drive on Merritt Island. Love all the action and detail. And it’s not too
common to be able to get 6 species of bird in one frame…
Here we have Great White Egret
(Top – head cut off), Glossy Ibis
(Top left), American Ibis (all over the
place), same as Snowy Egrets. The brown-white speckled Bird is a juvenile American White Ibis
.
Then of course the star of the show – Roseate Spoonbill
, and lastly (bottom right) a Tri-colored Heron
.







This is why I’ll never be in the bird big leagues!
