Incredible capture. I tiptoe around the lake to get near the Great Egrets that pass through our area in migration. They are very easily spooked. Imagine! They prefer the company of alligators to me!
That is an awe inspiring photo Klaus! I think the gators must be sleeping and I also think they are a bit to large for that Egret to swallow Or is he just getting a piggy-back ride? Ya know birds sometimes just like to have fun!
