Florida is aside from all the other things known about it also a birders paradise. In Winter and early spring many birds from
up north seek shelter from the cold here and they come in droves – not only to overwinter, but many also to do something about their offsprings. Hmm. Making them!

Absolutely beautiful picture. The birds look like GB Herons. We still have a couple of herons hanging around our frozen rivers. They must be crazy, but so must I for staying in the north!

Great Blue Heron do not migrate all that much. They are pretty content with whereever they are as long
they find food and water.
