Softshell Turtle

Such alien looking turtles. You don’t see them too often out of the water – so when I did I of course had
to take a shot!

    Klaus: What a great shot, a face a mother could love. I have caught them when fishing when I was young and thought they were strange.

    That is the strangest looking turtle I’ve ever seen – you hit it right – it’s alien looking! Great shot though.

    Great shot! It does look strange. I remember the first time I saw one. It gave me an eerie feeling. Now looking at it, it looks like a deformation of a regular turtle.

    Well, that’s different. I’d never heard of soft-shelled turtles, will have to do more research. great photo!

    Well, your shot is certainly a very cool one with it’s mouth open! The only one I ever saw and photographed was sitting in our driveway.
