as a catapult, to propel them. I have seen them coming up about 6-7 feet without a problem. You have to consider
that a Gators bodystructure consist of almost 90% muscle, the tail being one extremely powerful one. Thus said,
usually they are way to lazy to do it. :)</description>

		<description>I thought I was seeing things but there he is with his mouth wide open and slamming shut.  What a fun photo but also a magnificent one.  When we were in the Everglades a few years back, someone told me that they could jump out of the water with the speed of a porpoise.  Is that an exaggeration?  True or False?  I would be interested in your answer.  I still enjoyed my trip there and couldn&#039;t take enough photos of them.  Incredible animals and your action shot is great :)
