What a pretty little flower! During the 40+ years I lived in Florida, I don’t recall seeing an arrowhead flower. So, I have to ask – where did you take them?

I shot this today in a marsh (Emeralda Marsh by Leesburg).
More info on the arrowheads can be found when you click the link with the leaf.

You have the strangest blog and I can never tell if you get my comments. I type into the leave a reply box and it disappears.
Anyway, I’ve lived in Florida too but don’t recall seeing this flower. Maybe I wasn’t interested in flowers at that time. Beautiful shots. Especially like the first one.

I really like the lovely bright spot they provide near the water among the weeds – a nice flower that I’m not familiar with!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen these either. All of the shots are your usual greatness (smile), but I think my favorite is the first. I like the tall grass and the non-descript background that could be water or clouds or a mountain even. Kind of leaves you open for whatever mood you want it to be. I choose water.

I love this. Each photo is exquisite. But I love the first the best. The sky in the background does something wonderful for the whole photo.

The flowers are lovely, but the serious question is what software or plugin you are using for your photo gallery. (Please don’t tell me you hand-coded it yourself!)

Each one is perfect! Certainly shows that cropping can do a lot of different things and show a lot of different views of one flower! I love the drama of the far shot, but the close-up shows the details so nicely and has a different beauty. I like the first one best!

Hi Mary!
All are 1:1, shot with different lenses – last ones using a macro-lens.
No cropping here!

Hi Klaus
Its flowers are gorgeous and so had to achieve the macro, the fairly valued, great job. I thank you for sharing with us so much beauty.
