In today’s Camera Critters I will have two critters, who couldn’t be more different! First off – the American Alligator
who
sports the header of the new layout and then a new Butterfly – a Pipevine Swallowtail
.
Go visit Camera Critters for more of our animal Friends!

Boy I hope you’re messing with your site cuz it keeps messing up on me.
Gators are something I don’t stumble on around here. But how cool! And the blue on that butterfly would look lovely on a wall.

What awesome pictures!
If I had to choose a buddy between these two it would be the butterfly! Both are nice though.

Fabulous shot of the gator! Looks like you were down on his level…Yikes!
Love the butterfly too!
WOW! That gator is awesome! Looks like you were down on his level…yikes!
Love the butterfly too!
Great gator shot! I don’t think I want to be that close and look him in the eye! I’ll take the butterfly….beautiful and harmless
Both wonderful – I of course prefer the butterfly – a lot safer!
When I saw the alligator at first, I thought it was a frog! What was I thinking on this website?? Very wonderful capture. And the butterfly? Well, I love it. I’ve never seen a butterfly with that much blue “in real life.” I’ve seen blue in butterfly places, but never just out. So beautiful.
That has to be the best alligator picture I’ve ever seen!
The pipevine is beautiful. Butterflies are my favorite things in the world.

I love these shots. I love the blues in these. Did you do that on purpose to go with your new look?
Awesome shots as usual!
Well picked up! Yep – have to admit that I was playing the new Layouts colors.
Originally I planned to show the new outfit today – but I got done earlier!
Grey and blue…
Cheers, Klaus
I fell for the alligator – hopefully not in front of it. Frightening picture in more ways than one.

one doesn’t need a tranquilizer gun or a shotgun to take a photo of a gator this close… a good photographer like you with a reliable lens is all it takes!
great shots, as usual, klaus!

The gator looks very spooky to me! I hope you took that photo with a telephoto.
The dragonfly looks different from any I’ve see ahere in Ontario, Canada…but I haven’t seen all of them here yet.
