Anhinga
drying his feathers. Other than most Water Birds – the Anhinga has no oils to repel water. So – after each dive, he has to take a timeout to dry…
Still busy (not complaining) so I will lag a little in commenting!







Another bird I had never heard of. Amazing! Can’t really say stunning, your photo is, but the bird, not so much.

How inconvenient for the poor bird! I guess they don’t know life any differently, so it’s not so bad. But if I were one, I might notice the other birds not needing to take the time to dry off!
