Today’s ABC Wednesdays Letter is "H". I went with a Heron – and in this case a pretty special kind.
The Wurdemanns Heron is a rare cross between the familiar Great Blue Heron
and the Great White
Heron . More H’s can be found on ABC Wednesday’s Website! Go check it out!

That’s quite an ’s’ curve — great design…
Very cooperative heron…

Herons are not my friends. We have Had two Herons steal fish from our ponds. The first time I saw one I could not get over How Huge they are.
Oh well Mother Nature strikes again.
Your photo of the Heron is wonderful though.
Happy H day on ABC Wednesday.

I’ve never heard of this one before, but it looks beautiful! Do you have more pictures showing the differences? I’m sure you didn’t take “just one”
Beautiful photography, as usual. I never know what to see when I come here as it is hard to imagine one shot being better than the next one but they seem to be. Nice post for the letter H. Mine is on Canon Pixels.

OMG! Your photos really are amazing. I mean look – you can even see what looks like little whiskers on the bottom of the tip of the bill/beak.
