    This is a very nice photograph. I wish we had some birds like these here where I live. Unfortunately, the larger birds are turkey vultures or buzzards and they only show up when something has died. I did get to see a young Coopers Hawk yesterday. It was spooked into flight by a hoard of angry Blue Jays.

    The first thing that came to my mind was “To the Moon Alice”…and I have no clue why. Probably just my silly sense of humor taking over. ;-)
