This is a very nice photograph. I wish we had some birds like these here where I live. Unfortunately, the larger birds are turkey vultures or buzzards and they only show up when something has died. I did get to see a young Coopers Hawk yesterday. It was spooked into flight by a hoard of angry Blue Jays.
Nice photography.

Amazing shot! Is that the color of its wings or is it the shadow of the bone showing because of the light filtering through the wings?

The first thing that came to my mind was “To the Moon Alice”…and I have no clue why. Probably just my silly sense of humor taking over.
On a more serious side, this photo is I would guess one in a million. Everything about it seems like it was perfectly timed. BRAVO my new friend!

Kimmie
