The Zen moment is great, but I like the low angle shot of the yellow against the beautiful blue sky just as well.
Nice.

The daytime shot is every bit as beautiful as your sunset.
And your Thursday post of the cormorants leaves me speechless.

Klaus, I absolutely LOVE both, but that second one, with the strong blue, yellow, green and white is like candy for a child. What a rush! Awesome!

klaus, they are both so beautiful in different ways. The sunset appeals to a more dreamy kind of mood, but the sunny day with puffy clouds and yellow flowers is very zen and peaceful. It makes me want to go barefoot in the grass or go out for a picnic. I feel warm and sunny just looking at it.
I hope to post mine in a few minutes. Meanwhile, I am hosting “I and the Bird” in a couple of weeks and I would like to invite you to submit a posting. I really loved your black and white limpkin the other day. You and it could be my “Ansel Adams” submission or, you could suggest something else you have done. Email me and let me know. Thanks!

I don’t know how you do it my friend. How do you find a high grass field full of perfect buttercup type flowers? I’m beginning to think that you live on a different planet to the rest of us. Well done on this weeks entry sir.

Hey, it’s not Friday yet.
I really like both photos but the first one just takes my breath away and keeps drawing my eyes back to it. It’s not just the colors and that they blend so beautifully together. It’s the kind of scene I would sit staring at or drive off the road trying to get a picture of.
To me this picture represents from right to left the dark stormy days with rays of light and hope to it’s perfect sky on the right. There are even those heavenly rays from heaven breaking through the dark clouds.
I’m reminded of a few lines in one of my favorite songs -
Behind every dark cloud there’s a silver lining
After each rain’s fall there’s a brand new day
When troubles pieve you and friends deceive you
Don’t worry things will pass over in the morning
Weeping may endure but a night but joy will come in the morning.
I’m a sucker for sunsets and beaches.

As stunning as that first shot is, which I commented on at SWF, that delisghtful field of Buttercups against that gorgeous sky reminds me of childhood days, laying in the grass with my 3 SisterDears as we played the Cloud Game all afternoon! Serendipity!

Glad you fixed the comment problem, because I did want to comment on that bottom picture in particular. I just love the color and composition and everything about it! That puffball sky looks like someone tore open a package of cottonballs and spilled them
The yellow flowers are what really sets it off with the white and blue and green….beautiful! Love it!
