Virtua Gallery as a Photoblog is one year old today! As a site it is online about 4 years and I myself had a Webpresence since 1995 – but that’s nothing compared to the fun this blog is providing. Coincidentally my official* Postcount topped the magic 1000 mark yesterday with my latest Skywatch Post as well – so a double reason to celebrate a little.
* that counts pages, posted and deleted posts etc.
Now as it has become obvious – Nature is my thing, though I basically am an omnivore. So I put together a couple of shots in a slideshow for you to enjoy. But it wouldn’t be a real celebration, if I wouldn’t say thanks! Thanks to each and everyone coming to my site, especially to those who are repeat "offenders" 
!! And last but not least to my best shooting Buddy Tim, without whom I would not have gotten many of the shots you see here.

First, let me say, HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY! Second, thank you for visitng Sycamore Canyon so faithfully. I don’t know who found who first but I look forward to my visits here because I am never dissapointed. Third, the herons and egrets are my favorites but I really love the pelican with it’s beak tucked into its feathers the most. That is a show stopper. I had to go back to it again just to enjoy the beauty of it!
