We’re out of detention as well, just the low pressure front swirling around inside my sinuses.
I had to laugh at the turts, they look so naughty. I don’t know if you’re interested but you can see very good work on the release of Kemp’s Ridley and Loggerhead turtles here:

Great perspective here. I just learned about HDR and was wondering if you’re using it with some of your work?

Yes and no. I work with it on rare occasions, but mostly it creates images that are very unnatural looking – and if overused – images just look plain wrong. Same goes for Tone mapping, which has as similar approach as HDR, but works from just one image. I’ve seen hundreds of HDR’s but only maybe a handful really were mindblowingly good. SO the fews trials I made never rewally made it to my site.
Cheers, Klaus
And well worth all the flowers!

Lovely. Since I don’t edit my photos (other than cropping) since I don’t have software or knowledge, I’m not sure what you did here, but I think blurred it just a little? Or maybe you did that with the focus. Anyway, wonderful effect.

It’s an effect called soft focus, which is a combination over overexposure and blurring – and creates a sort of dreamy effect. I rarely use it on animals, but flowers and trees are a great “victim” for it.
Very nice and soft. Beautiful
