Some of my images I put aside, that do have something very special to them. This is one of them.

This is really beautiful. Its interesting to see different variations of a species. The only checkerspot I’m familiar with is the Harris Checkerspot. I did butterflies today too!

I’d say it has something special about it - it’s perfect! (Not sure though how you rank yours - they are all just about perfect!)

I really do admire your work Klaus, this is about as good as I’ve ever seen… I came here after visiting Abe Lincolns ‘Red Spotted Purple’ and both you and him inspire me with your shots.

Very nice photograph and a good one to make a poster print. Being from the north I have never seen this species of butterfly.

I don’t think my comment registered, so I’ll try again.
This is an outstanding photo. Beautiful piece of art work.

How perfect….like a flower blooming at the end of a stem. The texture is so real, I want to reach out and touch it. Beautiful in every way.

Terrific butterfly. I have never seen one like that. I don’t remember seeing many butterflies at all when I lived in Florida.

Oh..where do I start..First visit..AMAZING..all of the photos are so vivid. The heron is favorite on mine. I struggled to get a photo of one standing on a swingset near our pond Wednesday. It was so funny…

First visit..where do I start. AMAZING photos.. I struggled to get a decent photo of a great blue heron standing on a swingset near our pond. Same of some wood duck ducklings on a dock. I am trying though..LOL..
