That was a lesson all in one picture. Personally I can never get enough pictures of reflections. Spent two hours taking pictures of boats and trees etc reflecting in a fjord. Hope something comes out of it.
Have a nice week-end (and hats off for the excellent work!)

I admire everything about this photo. I could write a chapter about it, but I won’t. I’ll just say, “Fantastic”.
Thanks for the visit. I liked the comment about the sand color. I hate to ask, but could you re-comment. When I published it, it disappeared into the ether of outer space or it went into a black hole.

Klaus, I am not a fan of nature shots in general, but your birds and flowers and such are so fantastic, man, they are surreal! INcredible detail, color, it’s like you brought the subjects into the studio. excellent work.

Klaus, I just LOVE starburst sun shots… They remind me so much of how we used to draw the sun when we were kids… all the spiky rays. I love this shot. Cool perspective.

Oh no - I did? Did it hurt? I was sooo careful wedging this gorgeous tail into the spine. Come thinking of it, I heard some cracking. So that was you? Ouuups.
Besides - you’re way up in GA - not even remotely close enough to kick my butt for these puny cracks…

Ok - Ok! Let’s assume you’re right at the border and obey the speed limit. That will give me ample time (5hrs) to hide in the tool shed behind my office on 100a Hwy27 in Minneola, so that you will never be able to find me. Ha!
And tell the Chiropractor he’ll need a 2 1/2″ wrench and some Ducttape to fix it.
Some 10W 40 motor oil will probably be good too.

YOW, what a star burst! And, no flare either–nice lens, Klaus!
I need your help. I’m having a “Name the Newt” contest on my web site between Aug 1-15 and the winner gets my September Print of the Month. I have a post about it on my blog here.
I’d appreciate your efforts at getting the word out since I’d like to see a blogger win (but since I’m not a judge in my own contest…).
Thanks, Klaus.

I have always wanted to do images like this. I came across one in my files purely by accident. I was actually photographing the sky and realized that you could see the reflection of my dog in the side view mirror. Since I am driving most of the time now instead of being the passenger, I don’t have the opportunity to play as much with doing this. I love this image of yours. I didn’t even realize that it was a reflection until I read the post. To look at the pic you really don’t know. Wonderful job.

A stunner Klaus,
did not think I’d make it this week… using my spare PC.. a bit slow but workable… formatted the harddrive and will be reloading Windows next week.. I might as well take the thing to bits and clean it out.
Thanks for your advice….. your intro to Sky Watch next week my friend.. :O) Sandy’s will be a hard one to follow..
