Project Black - V

black-v

More from Project Black on Anna Carson’s site! And not to forget - these are the tail feathers of a Woodstork View definition in a new window.
While they are black - they also have an iridescent coating - that is greenish on the tail feathers and reddish on the wing feathers. And sometimes even both.

10 Nods! Why not add you two cents? to “ Project Black - V ”

Fantastic macro! Great detail! And I don’t have a clue how I missed your moon shot, when I saw your pic of the week, but it’s fabulous… as is your almost deleted work. Great job on that!

Love the design of these feathers — great shot.
I think someone should sit down and pen a little story about the woodstork from Woodstock… Sort of an updated version of Jonathan Livingston Seagull… (LOL, as they say)

Like that you chose to show just a part…makes the feather details that much more spectacular. I can even see the intricacies in the black ones!
