Today is the day when life as we know it comes to a halt in Germany. People stop on the streets, remembering today’s birthday.
Church Bells ring throughout the country and the session in Germany’s Parliament, the “Bundestag” will be interrupted to pay reference.
That of course happens, because my little big sister celebrates her Birthday. I hope that she will have time to read the blog entry of her little brother, when she’s done with her reception of foreign dignitaries.
So you have a wonderful 39th B’day, little sis!
Hi little brother – what a nice surprise! I always expected great things from you, but that shot was just great! What a wonderful vacation that was!
We will repeat it for your birthday! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and keep on posting great photos. Your big sister who momentarily let go of the sun – it’s gray and rainy here in Duesseldorf!
PS: No chuch bells, but a little bird flew into my living room (really) and was looking for you (just an ordinary robin, but cute). We sent it west – look out for it.
