ABC Wednesday “Z”, Project Black VI

22 Categories: ABC Wednesday •July 16, 2008

Today’s “Z” shows a cluster of Zebra Longwings - answering the question, where Butterflies go to sleep. ;)

Go to Mrs. Nesbitt’s Place to see some more “Z” concoctions!

For Project Black I opted for an American White Pelican View definition in a new window - reflecting the light and turning the background into pure Black.

Beautiful picturse, both. But I’m wondering how you have time to find all these great creatures to photograph and still have time to show us. Amazing to me.

It looks like you found the jackpot of sleeping zzzzzzzz’s! C’est beau! As your pictures always are. Also great tri coloured heron in the previous post; I’ve never seen one of those. I have photographed White Pelicans in our province twice but both times were rare sightings.

What a great shot of the butterflies! I’ve never seen them hang in a group like that. The pelican photo is very beautiful with that black background. It really makes the bird stand out. I’m always amazed at your photos!
