I love the serenity, solitude and peace in this photo. Nicely texturized, like a painting. I’d love to be picnicing under that tree.
Wonderful job on the new blog. Congratualtions to the entire Sky Watch team!

Hi Klaus!
I don’t know much about trees, but somehow I got the feeling of an African savannah here - maybe it was the choice of colours! It felt like warmth and the need of a shadow - which you had provided.
I know you have helped the SWF-team a lot - thank you from “the rest of the gang”!
Thank you for the nice comments on my own blog! Now I have even provided a translator on my Norwegian blog… See you at “A”!

Uh - you shouldn’t have! Though I have to admit, that the time that I found the lolcat thingie remotely amusing was, when I saw it for the 1st time. After that it had more the tang of a stomach flu.
I also forgot to tell you that the notary was pretty stupid. He worked for free. I told him he will get 75% commission.
I might have failed to mention to him, that I don’t charge anyone anything. Well - tough luck. (For him, though he will be back next SWF. So please: Shhhhhh!)

I hope the third time is a charm. I’m beginning to feel rejected.
I’ve tried to leave a comment twice today after seeing your beautiful photo, but have received a “failed” notice both times. We’ll see.
Lovely Sky Watch, Klaus. And, thanks for making the new Sky Watch Friday site such a wonderful blog site.

Uh - you’re not! Rejected that is! I got all of them! But the same Antispam
software sorts things into moderation sometimes, when a Spamwave breaks on the site.
And I had one today with about 200 attempts of spamming this little innocent blog.
Caught them all and kicked them where it hurts the most and picked the good peas out!
Like yours and the comments of 5 or 6 other bloggers, that ran into the same problem. So - you are officially “not ignored”!
Cheers, Klaus

I am walking up the shade of that nice big tree with my picnic basket. I spread my blanket on the ground and relax in the peace of the area. No sounds but the rustling of foliage in the breeze. Ah, tranquility. . . I think I see a bunny in those clouds.

Hi Klaus, thank you for your kind comment from a professional to an amateur! We are very proud to honor the Seminole Indians in naming a lake after them. Great photographic Journal. I will send your url to my grandson. He is not a photographer, but a medical student, he appreciates a lot beautiful photography. ( This is my 2 cents comment.)

Hi Annie - All of my images go through postwork - usually some common adjustments, like Level and brightness/contrast. This one was run through a filter, that provides a little dreamy effect.

Klaus, may I thank you for your generous work for Tom and as an extension to the Skywatch community. It is much appreciated.
I do like the tree in this image of yours. It is as though the bursting sun has awakened a myriad of tiny fingers that are reaching out for their own little piece of warmth.
