This beautiful pattern of brown gold and cream will fade over the years to the grayish brown of adulthood.

Great photo. As I become older, I find myself looking more and more at patterns. They are everywhere if you look for them. Animals, trees, plants, clouds, etc.

I have spent the day, just photographing patterns. No pattern, no picture.

    Have a great day,
    Troy

I never realized alligators had that much detail! This is really the first time I’ve ever looked closely. Really is beautiful in a cold kind of way.

Klaus ~ your photos very stop amazing me, Ergets ~ OMG! superb shot, Manatee ~ although I spend many days at the Jersey ocean, our water temps are too cold for these magificent creatures. I am hoping next time I’m in Florida to see one.
The gator ~ a great photo but not one of my favorite creatures.

Klaus, once again your photos are beautiful. The clarity in this aligator is wonderful. I love the info you put with the fighting birds.. Susan (bird rehaber I work with) has a nasty scratch and bruise on her leg that I noticed yesterday.. When I asked how she got it she said.. from a Nasty raven.. I know the injured bird she is speaking of.. she was trying to move it to another pen and it bid her..and wouldn’t let go..These birds can be vicious.

As for a vacation.. I think I could use one of those too.. don’t know that I have earned it yet … lol… but I would really enjoy it..( wink) Have a wonderful week.. and if I have time I may post some pics for next weeks clueless saturday… thanks Klaus
