Having seen so many gorgeous Songbird shots on some sites, I have to admit, that I’m pretty bad in that department. Either I don’t get the light I need, or I’m just not getting close enough, to make a usable shot.
Might also be that I’m a bit impatient!
Either way – the following three shots are about the best I have mustered so far. So the challenge to get more and better ones is on! I come to get ya!
Bluejay
American Robin
Red-bellied Woodpecker

This is pretty! It’s an interesting perspective.

Oh, I didn’t realize these three pictures were together. They’re all great. Blue Jays are among are prettiest and I think they’re underrated! Nice post on the Robin.

The Bluejay looks as though he ‘connected’ with you somehow – beautiful! Lovely sunlit American Robin. Now..it looks as though you are above the Red-belly??? Cool. Don’t the birds just love those little white berries? Great job on the song birds, Klaus!

~ very beautiful, i especially appreciate the woodpecker shot– it is a little
more creatively presented IMHO and I am all about angles/cropping in case you didnt notice, haha ..ty Klaus!
You got better shots than I have. Even though my lens does 18x zoom I haven’t found it adequate for taking the shots I’d like. I think yours are as great as the others I’ve seen that I envy. And that woodpecker, it looks like you were up in the tree looking down at it.

These are pretty darn good actually. I find I have to zoom in to get them and that = less quality. But it’s that or don’t get them at all since getting close without them flying off is tough.

Are you kidding me??? Those three are better than any bird shot I’ve ever been able to take! I am bird photo shot deprived! Excellent as always!

Great shots Klaus.. but I think the woodpecker is my favorite.. I can honestly say I have never taken a picture of a bird from THAT angle..lol what the heck were you doing IN the tree…lol
Klaus: Very nicely done with the three birds.
