klaus, this in one bird I still need to add to my life list. I searched all over when I was in south lforida in 2003 to no avail. Nice photos you’ve got here. I like the one with the snail in its mouth. BTW, I like your banner in the upper right corner about “pick it up”. I have to be careful about doing that here in the desert as the litter is often infused with spines as I painfully found out. Must use gloves or tongs instead! I whole-heartedly agree with you though.
