Light & Dark - The Verdict

Well - the majority of visitors did prefer the dark theme with the valid argument, that images just come out better on a dark background. Given the fact that there also popped up a sidebar conflict, after I switched the Dark theme to use Widgets - I set it back to dark for good.
The benefit of the switch in the sidebar to widgets is not only some more options, that are available now - Love the Gallery Teaser and the themed slideshow, that I plan to switch weekly - there is also the benefit of faster loading time, that improves the average page load time to under 10 secs.
There you have it!

Klaus, in the almost three years i have known you, all (well almost!) have been major eye candy, visually appealing from a graphic standpoint. I also know you forever need to change things… I somehow personally can bank on many changes…. NO matter what I say, you will forever be altering
your format. I suppose this is part of your charm. As a fyi though I prefer the darker background.. btw the teasers are nice, but I just logged on and need to peruse the site…..yvonne;~D
