Light and Dark!

14 Categories: Photo-Journal •June 9, 2008

Industrious as I am, I had to play a little more with themes so I created a choice between a lighter and darker theme, for you to choose from.

Here they are -select the one you like from the sidebar (top) or just click on the image!

And let me know which you like best!

This is hard…perhaps because I’m a Gemini :-) While gray/black is always good for photos, there’s something inviting about the Virtua. I guess I’ll vote for it.

I like the old better - but that could simply be because I’m a creature of habit! (Gemini here as well.) I think your pictures show up better in the darker mode, tho the lighter one is good as well. It really doesn’t make a darn bit of difference - your photos are beautiful no matter what the background!

I like the darker version….I always think photos stand out better against a dark background…but they both look great with your photos!!

I prefer the dark one, but like the birds on the lighter one (smile). Could you please put the birds on the dark one?

I prefer the darker background, I think photos stand out better against dark than they do against lighter shades.

The majority seems to prefer the dark theme - so I set that as default.
But you can still switch to the light theme, by selecting it in the top right sidebar!

Fun! I prefer the dark one though because it shows off the pictures better.

    Both show the photos well.
The lighter has a cleaner look to me.

It’s apples and oranges. Both are really nice.

    Thanks for the visit,

Really depends, Klaus on what you are posting. Black is more dramatic and nature has colors which pop better out of a dark background..white is fresher, I think white is something you may tire of after a while..
but knowing you it won’t last a long while, (I meant the background.. )(kidding sorta)
