Klaus ~ do you have a refuge by you? Where are all these photos taken?
Wonderful image, Klaus. I love the shots of the gator and the limpkin you posted previously, too. I enjoyed reading your photography tips. You include such practical information! Thank you.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Little Blue here in Connecticut. We have Great Blue, Night and Little Greens that visit our pond regularly, tho. Don’t like it when the Night Heron catches a baby duck. I know, I know – circle of life and all that stuff, but I still don’t have to like it!

I was lucky to photograph a little blue heron when I visited Corkscrew Swamp a few years ago. I didn’t realize they were elusive, I know I’ve never seen one in Maine.

You lucky guy! I would love to see the Little Blue Heron. I’m hoping to see one in NC in July. Great shot!

I’ve never seen that heron…great picture!
Exquisite capture and photograph of this little blue heron! Looks a little distraught though! Blowing away in the wind there
Excellent point of view, as he stands there, perched tightly on his branch… unfathomable the size… you are ever so lucky to have been right up front and centre with this species… wonderful artwork and subject, my friend!
