Florida has about 4,000 species of flowering plants in 190 families – so it’s not surprising that I find new things, whenever I go out. Here’s a selection of flowers that I found that week, when I was out and about.

What a nice variety – I like the long stemmed Sabatia and the erect Day Flower. Have you ever read about Jimson weed? I guess you can get higher than a kite from that plant…(don’t try this at home
