Walk the shores - Part V - Wildflowers

5 Categories: Photo-Journal •May 21, 2008

Florida has about 4,000 species of flowering plants in 190 families - so it’s not surprising that I find new things, whenever I go out. Here’s a selection of flowers that I found that week, when I was out and about.

These are all so beautiful. Be glad there were only 28 pix. I might have commented all 4000 times. ;-) This is like walking in a virtual garden.

What a nice variety - I like the long stemmed Sabatia and the erect Day Flower. Have you ever read about Jimson weed? I guess you can get higher than a kite from that plant…(don’t try this at home ;-)
