It never seizes to amaze me what you can see on these walks. Flowers you never saw before, animals that
show different behavior in different environments – or you get totally floored with animals you didn’t
expect – like the pair of Riverotters I ran into. Add to it the magic of the Lakeshore Forrest and it
simply spells a lot of fun. ………….to be continued.

Magical! What a fantastic tour, Klaus. The light on the rattlebox is wonderful. Watching the playful otters must have been a blast!! Nice shot of the heron in flight with its “landing gear” down. The picture with the little purple flowers looks like an enchanted garden! And the berries are incredible. They look like jewels!

Here in Florida I have never seen otters, except in captivity. Am also blown away by your berry post, they remind me of my Grandfathers garden in Stockholm! The colors are beautiful!
I am in awe of the photos you get, over and over. You always seem to get it right.
All terrific shots, Klaus…bravo!
That first flower photo almost looks like a bunch of little song birds.. wonderful , wonderful.. I so love otters..
Great series of photos, I was lucky to see my first wild otters in Maine this past winter and also lucky to get some photographs of them.
