Walk the shore I

This is going to take some time.. ;) Lots of pictures and little time to edit so I’m throwing
some crumbs in, whenever I got something.
In short – this walk(s) (again) took me to Lake Louisa State Park – my favorite hangout and
where I find so much of my images. The weather the last days was just drop dead gorgeous.
Cool in the morning (in the low 60’s – hey it’s Florida – so the 60’s can be called cool down here)
and combined with a pleasant breeze somewhere in the mid 80’s during the day – the last days
of spring here in Florida. No a cloud in the sky – and all of that automatically puts an extra
spring in your step.
So enjoy a couple of images.

The cypress swamp is so very cool! Love them all, but the button bush is really something. You’ll see that blue dayflower on a card pretty soon – thanks for naming it. We didn’t know what it was – it was back in the woods behind our house.

Loved them all, but like bird lady, my favorite has to be the button bush…fantastic!!

  3. That first shot is really different and just something about it I love. The small blue flower – lovely! Dragonfly on the camera? How cool is that? And the butterfly has such color and detail – wow!

Beautiful walk! I want to see trees like those again, dripping with Spanish Moss. How I miss the south! Beautiful sparkly detail on the dayflower. We have those and Button Bush here, too. Can you believe that dragonfly!?!? I guess he wanted you to take his picture? ;-) Gorgeous black Swallowtail!!
