Ah, Klaus…all wonderful…but the willets in the sunset are just gorgeous!
I too, love the willets at sunrise — just beautiful! Congrats on the Magnificent Frigate, isn’t if fun to get a ‘first’!

I absolutely love that willets at sunset shot, it would make a nice print for the wall.

the willets at sunset is very beautiful!! a comment about the sanderling…i am enjoying the texture of the light ground with black speckles backing up to a bird with similar tones– i like the ground to bird ratio and the fact it is uncentered;~D

Hi Klaus, Wow! I’m glad I stopped by. I had a little time this morning and decided to visit a couple of blogs. You never disappoint! All wonderful shots, but I really like the willets in the sunset. Nice exposure on that. Even the waves are visible. Very cool shot. I didn’t know that Frigatebirds ever made it to the States. I once saw them in the West Indies, but never imagined I could ever see them here. That’s exciting! The pelican and gull are nicely highlighted. I like the other shots, too!
