Neil Turner - a professional Photojournalist based in London, U.K. has a highly interesting Website. And the right Attitude. For he shares his knowledge freely without big fuzz.
Though he does not target and cater to the beginner in photography his information gives you a good insight how a Pro set’s up and shoots.
The cool thing is - that he presents a shot and then explains in detail how he went about doing it.
This is a very good method to understand workflow, necessities and the problems you encounter doing shots like that.
It is a highly recommended read for the advanced Amateur or Pro to get ideas and learn something! Which in my book is always a good thing.

So go visit and learn. Very recommended are the sections TECHNIQUES and OPINIONS. Have fun!
