Spring is on its way…
The day started cool with temps in the low 50’s (12 C) and glorius with not the slightest hint of cloud in the sky. But it soon warmed up and when I left the State Park it was 82 F, 27 C. Everywhere signs of new life - the first new leafs showed up, new grass and the first butterflies. Lot’s of Sulphurs, Zebra Longwings, Skippers and the first Swallowtails of the season. Saw and took photos of a Palamedes Swallowtail and saw the 1st Zebra Swallowtail
, though out of my reach.
The water level at Lake Louisa dropped again about 2 feet and as in my recent visit to Witlachochee River a sign to be really concerned.
Aside from that just a beautiful 5 hr walk. Have a look! Added images from the following day as well
